I created a new category using the floating menu, and the icon is orange/yellow. How do I choose its colour so that it matches the other icons in the folder?

Having trouble with icon colours, huh? I had the same issue! I found the best way was to right-click the folder, go to "Properties", then "Customize", and "Change Icon". There, you can browse and choose from a variety of icons with different colours.

I had the same issue before. The new category icons don’t match automatically, and the default color looks odd. You can usually edit the icon style in the category settings or theme configuration. If not, the admin panel might offer more control for custom colors.

The color usually comes from the default theme settings, so new categories pick the standard icon shade unless you change it manually. Check the category’s edit options or theme settings to see if icon color can be customized. Some setups allow you to pick a color directly, while others require adjusting the theme or switching to a preset that uses unified colors for all icons.
