The latest Chrome update (51.0.2704.79) does not work with Windows XP. From now on, Chrome will not support XP.

Can you provide a link to the last version?

Many thanks

Please use (at least) Seven !

Google Chrome 49.0.2623.112

Edit by Dji:
Use version 49.x instead of 50.x

Answering my own question: http://update.liberkey.com/packages/Google_Chrome_49.0.2623.112.lks

*EDIT* I didn't see Dji's response. Many thanks.

I have a very old notebook which doesn't run Windows 7 but runs a stripped-down XP SP3 with antivirus and up-to-date portable apps. I refuse to throw away perfectly good hardware!

Dji, the version in your link does not work in XP. The version I linked to (49.0.2623.112) is the last version to work.

Thanks for your help. My hardware is still going strong :)

Hi,

The link provided does not work anymore. Where can I get that file (Google_Chrome_49.0.2623.112.lks)? I'm running XP SP3 and screwed Chrome by updating to the last version... :-(
