Fix missing applications

Postby jorgedaniel » 19 February 2011, 13:30

Hi

I have some missing applications because of my anti-virus have delete them without my permission.
Why not have a fix liberkey applications to fix the missing applications?
I like to have all Liberkey applications on my PC ou PEN USB.

Best Regards

Please make an application to find missing or broken application.
I´m having some applications broken because I was moving to another disk and some files were deleted or erased.

Hello jorgedaniel
We plan to enhance the apps detection/installation feature. Repairing the broken apps is a part of what we want to do, but I can't tell you when this will be done.. I hope it will be "available soon" TM

Hello Jorge,
We started a new tool for finding/reinstalling damaged apps.
The tool looks for missing files (exe files, and portabilizer data file). If one of these files is missing the app will be added in an installation list.
Once that all apps have been checked, you can reinstall the damaged ones in a single opertaion.
You can update your LiberKey using the beta channel if you want to test it now.
Open the "LiberKey Tools" menu, "manage applications" / "Add remove programs".
In the window "Manage portable applications" click on "Add applications" then choose "Repair damaged applications"

Try to delete one .exe file and then restart Liberkey
Try to update or install that program.
