[Solved] Autorun problem

Postby BlueMaxima » 08 March 2011, 23:54

While investigating the UI to create my improved translation, I noticed that the Autorun feature's "Delete" button to remove entries from the autorun list simply doesn't work. Is this normal?

I have this problem.
Add for example Chrome by "shortcut" browse link on the right.
The app starts ok, then if i go to liberkey config and try to delete that shortcut, the 'x' icon, when you select the app it's turned off (grayed).

Funny that i add 3 app, and 1 (RocketDock) i can delete, the other 2 are like i explain before (RocketDock it's the only one that i want in this list... Murphy Law). :)

I tried to search in config xml files and i can´t find where that info is.

Any help?

Hello.

Not sure have understand all the problem.
Have you try to manage these apps by LiberkeyTools => Manage applications => Add/remove programs when you have install them ?
In LiberkeyTools => Configuration => Autorun have you checked Enable autorun before trying modify properties of your apps ?

I think user cant' use Autoruns because a feature is disabled in the tool

You reproduce the problem?

I know it's a bug, but I want to know how to manually delete entries.

on the whole menu select the shortcut in its category -> right click -> shortcut properties -> advanced -> autoexecute -> never

Good tip but amazingly the option is grayed/inactive to click.
And says to "start apps if not started before".

Then again... the app that i can delete (RocketDock), has that same option active...

Do you know where is the autorun feature configure? perhaps is compiled and without ini/cfg/xml file. :-(

Huummm... Now something that could help.

On the "shortcut propreties" window of the problematic app i found a "locker icon" on the top right as you can see here:

And in the shortcut of the app that works (rocketdock) its not there.

What is the meaning of that icon?
